Brighton and Hove council have recently joined a scheme called Solar Together Sussex, which aims to make the installation of solar panels and/or batteries easier and cheaper. Basically, interested householders register on http://www.solartogether.co.uk/brighton-and-hove by May 26 (where you can also find further details of the scheme) and the Council then puts the potential work out to tender. The more people who participate, the better the price that can be negotiated. There is NO obligation to go ahead, so I hope lots of us will register interest! | |
